In one way this fit is better than my last try:
-It feels like the fabric is hanging better. I don't feel like have excess fabric between my legs.
The problems are:
-The crotch or rise feels a little tight. If I pull the waistband up, the front crotch hangs farther from my body, but the pants won't sit like this on their own.
-The front pulls or has too much fabric or is shaped wrong. I am unsure what is causing those wrinkles.
-The back center seam is too tight, as you can see from the picture. The crotch/curved part of the seam feels fine.
-The back legs have extra fabric folding forward over the inside seam.
So that's enough of this for now. I need to learn more about fitting and pattern drafting before I try again.
Right now, I want to work on Maddie's front bodice block tutorial. She has been so helpful in answering my questions and lays out the steps with detailed drawings and written instructions.
