I'll not go into the details of the imperfections. The ultimate result is that the overall look is what I wanted and I am now married to the humblest, kindest, most generous man who also fixes cars, does taxes, makes the bed, and wants to be with me but never smothers.
You can't tell in the photos, but everything but the center front is overlaid with a soft netting/chiffon/tulle that has silver spots - too small to be sequins, too big to be glitter. I used turquoise thread to sew the dress. My shoes are silver and blue, too.
While dating, he gave me bouquets of red roses, one of yellow carnations, and one of blue gerbera daisies. I used only those flowers for my bridal bouquet.
And come on, look at that fit against the swayback! I've never done better.
