Shoes: Flat, comfortable like sneakers, plenty of room in the toe box. For work, streamlined and polished. For casual, not too athletic. For hiking/walking: water resistant, breathable. Dislike white soles. Bonus points for interesting color or design lines.
Bags: Large enough to hold my lunch and a jacket with room for smaller insert. Must have handle and shoulder strap. Also like smaller bag that holds clutch and has strap that allows bag to sit under my arm.
Hats: Warm for winter. Brimmed for hiking. Love as accessories, but are too large unless buy expensive brand. Would like to be able to afford to use as part of signature style.
Scarves: Warm, but not too thick, for winter. As accessories, long and thin is best.
Gloves: Must cover wrist and allow for safely gripping the steering wheel. Must be warm - wool or synthetic fleece preferred.
Sunglasses: Functional, polarized. Prefer black to brown lenses. Prefer side coverage.
Jewelry: Prefer larger pieces with silver tones and natural elements (e.g. unfinished stones)
Watches: One hand-face, black, streamlined for work. One athletic digital-face for casual.
I like thin bracelets that fit close to my wrist.
I like thin, small rings without anything sticking up. I wear a wedding and engagement ring, one on each hand, so have no need of more.
